A building of our own
In the next few days my platoon will finally be moving into the building where we will live for the duration of this deployment. We are all really excited to be able to have our own place to lay out our things and get comfortable. Up to this point we have lived out of bags for nearly seven months and have moved eight times (usually a move to a new kind of crappy tent). I look forward to setting up my area and making it my own. Some other perks include indoor plumbing (eeeeeew, aaaaaaaah), doors and walls that separate rooms, and a rec rooms with books and games to keep us occupied. Our stress level with be drastically reduced when we finally have a place to call home.

We're looking forward to it as much as you are! The mission sounds plenty tricky, so take care of yourselves first (sleep... eat...some rec time)... And keep your heads down heroes! Love you all, Uncle Petee
