About Me
- Name: Joey
I'm a soldier in the Army National Guard currently serving a 12 month tour in Iraq. I am 24 and am going on my fifth year at the university where I study economics and philosophy. This blog is intended to be a collection of thoughts and experiences from my first preparation for deployment to the day I eventually return home. My ramblings in no way represent the official views of the State Department, Department of Defense, or of any other US soldiers. (Fingers crossed that this disclaimer wards off any future court martials)

Yeah! I can't wait to hear all of your banter! I passed the power cord hunt onto Dad, I have been a little overwhelmed this week and just couldn't find anyone to work with me at any of the computer stores I went to. So, Dad to the rescue had the part # and a contact with in 15 minutes! Must be the luxury of not working and lounging in the sun! I am glad you are online and I can't wait to hear more (i think I said that already, I told you it has been a long week!) Casey says hello! He is off to kill birds this weekend with sage and 4 other guys. He was like a little kid in a candy store the other night when we went to GI Joes. Bullets galore! Watch out little birdies - fly away! anyway he says hi and hopes that you are well! We all miss you!
