'Tis the season
Geez, new handgun, new knives, new helmet padding...it's like Christmas at Chuck Norris's house around here. The whole family, and I do mean the WHOLE family, has been spoiling me rotten with new gadgets for both fun and safety. Aside from the obvious fact that I've been receiving some pretty cool stuff for my impending trip overseas, mainly I just really appreciate that everyone is thinking of me. I'm really lucky to have such great friends and family. By the time I set foot in Iraq, I'm going to be armed to the teeth, looking like some sort of bionic-commando. Unrecognizable in comparison to my fellow soldiers.
So in other news, yesterday I bought myself the gift of sight. I had LASIK surgery, and I'm stoked with the results. When I went in this morning they told me that I am the proud owner of 20/20 vision. For the amount of money I spent I was hoping they could hook me up with some special features like telescopic or x-ray vision, but it looks like I'll have to make do with run-of-the-mill perfect eye sight. Oh well....
This morning I'm headed off to the beach for my annual summer trip. My best friend Tyler and I have been going out there with his family and other family friends for the last decade or so. This year the trip should be great. Hopefully the hangovers won't be too debilitating. Anyway, I might not have access to the internet so my faithful readership (which if I'm lucky might total two by now) will just have to wait a week for more posting. Have a great week everyone and I'll talk to you soon.
