I hate to gripe about the bathrooms again, but if the Defense Department can afford to spend $640 for one toilet seat, you’d think they could chip in and get us some two-ply toilet paper around here.

I'm a soldier in the Army National Guard currently serving a 12 month tour in Iraq. I am 24 and am going on my fifth year at the university where I study economics and philosophy. This blog is intended to be a collection of thoughts and experiences from my first preparation for deployment to the day I eventually return home. My ramblings in no way represent the official views of the State Department, Department of Defense, or of any other US soldiers. (Fingers crossed that this disclaimer wards off any future court martials)

so Joe. Im a 50 yr old guy in Ohio. If you enjoy the war vote for Bush. Hes gonna make sure you guys have plenty of wars to fight in the name of the United Corporations of America. I think hes done more harm to the country than any President in history. Outsourcing good jobs, wars without clear reasons, record high deficits, wages lowering by the day and the Corporations making laws for themselves at middle americas expense.
God bless our soldiers but fuk their Commander in Chief . Hes an evil chickenhawk who ran when he was asked to fight.
