All hail the Pixies!

A few months ago, before I received word that I'd soon be headed off to hell's sandbox, I had big plans for September 4th. I'd spent a grip on cash on tickets to see the Pixies, Death Cab for Cutie, and The Decemberists play a show in Bend, Oregon. Seeing as the Pixies rule so damn much, and the sad fact that this was an unlikely reunion tour, I'm royally pissed. Curses to you once again George W.!! Also, the person I gave the tickets to said that she spent The Decemberists whole set waiting in line to pee, and was getting tanked at the beer garden while the Pixies played. I'm wounded. Well I'll just have to hold out hope that the Pixies will somehow join up with Toby Keith and and open for him in Baghdad.
