No rest for the weary

For the last few weeks we’ve been running non-stop. It seems like every time I stop to rest someone screams “mission!” at the top of their lungs and off we go. From what I read in the paper it looks like things are heating up just about everywhere. The bad guys are getting a little bolder it seems. It wakes you up a bit when you’re driving a familiar route and suddenly run over a giant crater in the middle of the road that hadn’t been there a few days before. Around here craters are sort of a barometer for how uneasy you should feel. If, on your way to a village, you pass several charred holes in the road it is safe to assume that you’re not the most popular kid in town and you’d better keep your eyes pealed.

Hoo-baby, somebody turned off comments on that last post about the radio transmitting while you guys sobbed about girls! Well, that ain't half as bad as the laugh everyone would have had if the radio had been sending when you thought that wasp, or bee, or moth or whatever was trying to kill you! Don't be so grand: It won't be a cow, it'll be like, some really scary, hairy spider that sends to running' for Kuwait! ;-)
