Questions, comments, snide remarks
Alright folk, I swear I'm no liar, there are several more posts on the way. I've been very busy (and as I've said, very lazy) but there have been quite a few twists and turns since I've been home that I'd love for you all to hear about. I PROMISE that this week I'm going to get on it and post. Thank you all so much for continuing to check back with the site. Cut me a little more slack and I won't dissapoint. Take care.
I'm a soldier in the Army National Guard currently serving a 12 month tour in Iraq. I am 24 and am going on my fifth year at the university where I study economics and philosophy. This blog is intended to be a collection of thoughts and experiences from my first preparation for deployment to the day I eventually return home. My ramblings in no way represent the official views of the State Department, Department of Defense, or of any other US soldiers. (Fingers crossed that this disclaimer wards off any future court martials)

You have earned the right to be "lazy", take some time for yourself, and re-adjust to being home!
Life is a journey filled with many different roads...I hope the "twists and turns" on your road have been good ones. You deserve only the best.

I met with Joey today. I won't say too much since he'll probably want to talk about it, but something big is about to happen.
Hope the lack of the promised posts means "no news is good news".
Waiting to hearing how you're adjusting, if you're going back to school, if you've been offered a exciting new job, if you've had any "girl dramas", and just generally how you're doing.
Joey's been really busy. I'll give some basic info that he can expand on later. He's going to be in Vegas next week. He's had contact with some of his interpreters in Iraq, and he's helping with a gift drive for Iraqi kids. Hopefully he'll get back to posting reasonably soon though.
