Elmo (left), her sister Nahren (far right), and two of their little sisters pose for a family photo. Elmo holds a bag of oatmeal cookies made by my Grandmother.
Joe, My cookies have never flown so far, and apparently they arrived in ok shape. Am so pleased to see Elmo and her siblings enjoying them!! I'll get more off to you soon. Your care and love for those darling children will be a great legacy. I love you so very much. Gran
My My how Elmo has grown! She looks so grown up in comparison to some of the first pictures your posted. It will be amazing to see how these kids have changed (externally & internally) by the time you leave. (I work with your Aunt Barb and read all the time.-Jennifer)
I'm a soldier in the Army National Guard currently serving a 12 month tour in Iraq. I am 24 and am going on my fifth year at the university where I study economics and philosophy. This blog is intended to be a collection of thoughts and experiences from my first preparation for deployment to the day I eventually return home. My ramblings in no way represent the official views of the State Department, Department of Defense, or of any other US soldiers. (Fingers crossed that this disclaimer wards off any future court martials)
